Everest Bank Ltd. organizes Free Health Camp at Bhadrapur & Birtamode and Opens Extension Counter at Damak

Everest Bank organized Free Health Checkup Camps for patients from Bhadrapur & Birtamode on 17th & 18th January 2013. During the camp, around 300 people of each area received treatment from the team of doctors led by Dr. Bharat Rawat (Cardiac Specialist of the country). The services covered during the camp were Cardiac, Neuro, orthopedics & General Medicine. The program was aimed at early diagnosis of different health problems, wherein the doctors present advised on precautions & solutions. Further to impart awareness to the local residents, an interaction program was also organized, where Dr. Rawat attended queries of large number of participants & also shed light on healthy life style.

EBL has always been conscious of its social responsibilities and as a part of its CSR activities, has been organizing various programs for the benefit of the people at large mainly from deprived & under privileged region.

Likewise on 18th January 2013, Everest Bank Ltd. opened its new extension counter & ATM at Damak, Jhapa. With this, the network of the bank reached 48 branches, 3 Extension Counters, 20 Revenue Collection Counters & 63 ATMs. The new counter & ATM were inaugurated by Mr. P.K. Mohapatra (CEO-EBL). The inaugural function was also attended by various dignitaries.

Besides, EBL debit card has access to more than 1100 ATMs of SCT network in Nepal and more than 6000 ATMs of Punjab National Bank (PNB) in India whereby EBL customers going to India need not to carry cash and can withdraw cash through EBL debit cards from ATMs of PNB.
