Everest Bank Ties up with City Express Money Transfer for Remitance Payment

 

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has signed agreement with City Express Money Transfer Pvt. Ltd (CEMT) and appointed them as their payout partner for disbursement of international remittance transaction received through their official remittance product- Everest Remit.

The agreement was jointly signed by Assistant General Manager of the Bank, Mr. Keshab Raj Paudel and Managing Director of the company, Mr. Chandra Tandan. Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr. Someshwar Seth and Deputy General Manager, Mr. Rajeev Jain were also present in the signing ceremony on behalf of the bank whereas General Manager, Mr. Ajesh Koirala and Business Development Manager, Mr. Sagar Khanal were present in the function on behalf of CEMT.

With this agreement in place, all inbound remittance received through Everest Remit from various countries worldwide will be made available for payment through 5,500 locations of CEMT all over Nepal. With this addition, the total payout locations for disbursement of remittance have reached approximately 9,000 locations all over the country for EBL.

This partnership will provide added coverage for remittance customer of the bank. EBL presently has Customer Base of over 9.5 lacs, one of the highest in the industry. Further, the Bank recently adjudged as Number 2 bank among commercial banks under CAMELS rating. Presently the Bank is rendering professionalized & efficient banking services through its widest domestic network of 80 branches, 7 Extension Counters, 28 Revenue Collection Counters, 113 ATMs and also through its widest global network.
